Blackstone’s QTS, Vantage pledge transparency in data center operations

Blackstone’s QTS and other data center developers, including Vantage, have committed to improving transparency by disclosing power and water usage, as well as project ownership, to local communities. This development follows increasing scrutiny over the environmental impact of data centers, particularly regarding their electricity and water consumption. The move is seen as an attempt to engage more openly with communities affected by these projects. Despite this pledge, there is no indication that standardized disclosure practices or enforcement mechanisms are yet in place.
