Blackstone’s Ode AI Consultancy Struggles to Keep Pace With Demand

Blackstone President Jon Gray said Ode, the AI consulting company formed by Blackstone and Anthropic, cannot keep pace with customer demand, offering a specific example behind his view that AI demand is outpacing infrastructure supply. Gray said companies are adding capacity while trying to meet demand. He described demand growth as nearly parabolic and said the current situation differs sharply from episodes such as the 1990s telecom bubble. Gray pushed back Thursday on a recent assessment by Citadel CEO Ken Griffin that AI is in a bubble.
