BlackRock TCP Capital Posts $0.80 Q3 Loss as Investment Income Falls

BlackRock TCP Capital Corp. posted a $0.80-per-share GAAP loss in the third quarter as investment income declined 43.6% from a year earlier to $28.48 million. Net investment income totaled $13.4 million, or $0.16 per diluted share. Adjusted net investment income was $12.5 million, or $0.15 per diluted share. The $0.16 figure was net investment income per diluted share, not GAAP earnings per share. The company’s GAAP result for the quarter was a loss of $0.80 per share.
