Bitso and Alpaca Launch Options on More Than 6,000 U.S. Stocks and ETFs

Bitso and Alpaca have launched options trading in Mexico on more than 6,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds, letting eligible customers seek access through their existing accounts. Customers can request access subject to eligibility and compliance checks. Available strategies include covered calls, cash-secured puts, and purchases of calls and puts. The offering runs through Nvierto, an investment adviser registered with Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV). John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
