Bitget Plans Thai Trading Service While Terms Bar Thai Residents

Bitget plans to make a trading platform available to Thai users through BTGT Management (Thailand) Ltd.’s proposed acquisition, although its current terms bar residents of Thailand from using its existing services. The terms list Thailand and the United States as prohibited countries. They define residents of those countries as restricted persons and require users not to be restricted persons. The restriction applies to Bitget’s existing platform as it pursues a separate route into the Thai market. The proposed purchase of the Thai exchange operator would transfer 7,349,446 shares in GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to BTGT Management or its designee.
