Bitcoin vs Gold: Why BTC’s 42% Q3 rally leaves Q4 hedge thesis unfinished

If the Q3 pattern repeats, Q4 could be a cakewalk for Bitcoin. Here’s the logic: Q3 was a period of high FUD as tensions between the U.S. and Iran rose, causing oil prices to rise by almost 40%. However, during the same period, Bitcoin rose by 42%, creating a major market divergence. Typically, rising oil prices move against BTC; however, that correlation broke down in Q3. This shift could be a key indicator for Bitcoin’s Q4 setup. From a sentiment perspective, this divergence supports Bitcoin’s macro-hedge thesis.
