Bitcoin (BTC) traded near $82,000 on Oct. 19 as U.S. spot exchange-traded funds posted about $230 million in weekly net outflows and spot takers remained net sellers, showing that buying remained weak. BTC was about 2% lower than a week earlier. The ETF figure covers the week through Oct. 18. Broader profit-taking had cooled since early October, but the fund outflows and spot trading still pointed to limited demand. Earlier in the month, profitable holders who had owned BTC for fewer than 155 days accounted for about 86% of coins sent to exchanges on Oct. 4.
