Bitcoin Suisse launches trading, custody and staking in Portugal under MiCA

The Swiss crypto firm, with reported assets under management of $3.5 billion to $4 billion, is using its Liechtenstein license to court Portugal's wealthy investors Bitcoin Suisse has opened for business in Portugal. The Swiss crypto firm began offering trading, custody and staking services there on October 20, 2026. The launch runs through Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG, under the license the firm picked up earlier this year through the EU’s MiCA framework. The service menu covers three core areas: buying and selling crypto, holding it safely, and staking it.
