Bitcoin (BTC) short-position liquidations reached $14.2 million in the hour ending at 11:58 a.m. ET (15:58 UTC) Oct. 11, as the cryptocurrency rose 0.92% to $83,902. The total liquidation tally for the period was $14.34 million. Long-position liquidations accounted for $140,000, while short positions made up the remaining $14.2 million. The calculation covers public liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX and represents those three exchanges only.
