Bitcoin rebounded after an overnight drop toward $80,000, briefly climbing above $81,500 as declining US Treasury yields and a softer US dollar provided support for cryptocurrency markets. BTC touched nearly $80,226 during Asian trading, its lowest point in nearly a month. The selloff followed the release of September US Consumer Price Index data, which showed a 3.7% annual increase, surpassing the expected 3.6%. Core inflation reached 2.6%, driving speculation that the Federal Reserve might tighten policy further. Financial markets responded sharply, with initial declines in Bitcoin and technology stocks as investors reduced their exposure to risk-sensitive assets.
