Bitcoin Long Liquidations Hit $29.65 Million in One Hour

Bitcoin (BTC) long positions worth $29.65 million were liquidated in the hour ending at 7:34 p.m. ET on Oct. 12 (23:34 UTC), as the leading cryptocurrency fell 0.91% to $81,850. The total liquidation value reached $29.71 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX, based on public data collected and combined from the three exchanges. Short liquidations accounted for $60,000. Bitcoin traded at $82,602 at the start of the measured hour before falling to $81,850. The figures cover the three exchanges and do not represent the entire market.
