Bitcoin Falls Below $82,000 as Several Altcoins Drop More Than 20%

Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $82,000 late Monday as a steep pullback spread across smaller tokens, with several altcoins losing more than 20% in 24-hour trading. At 8:35 p.m. ET (00:35 UTC), BOME was down 30.04% at $0.000768. BLUR fell 29.48% to $0.01349, while STRK declined 28.35% to $0.08599. PONS dropped 20.35% to $0.281. Other listed tokens also posted losses, including USELESS, down 16.82% to $0.16969; ENA, down 15.55% to $0.204; and NEAR, down 13.44% to $5.039. The moves extended weakness across both Bitcoin and a broad group of alternative cryptocurrencies, with the largest declines concentrated among lower-priced tokens.
