That left the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization $97 beneath the threshold. At 4:44 p.m. ET, 15 minutes before the latest check, Bitcoin was at $78,042, or $42 above $78,000. The two readings show the price moved across the threshold during that interval and declined by $139. The one-hour comparison showed BTC up 0.06% at the latest check, putting its price slightly above the level at 3:59 p.m. ET.
