BlackRock's IBIT drove nearly all the gains as institutional buyers treat the dip as an opportunity rather than a warning sign. While Bitcoin ’s price was sliding, institutional money was moving in the opposite direction. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $526.6 million in net inflows on October 19, the largest single-day total since September 22, according to tracking data. Bitcoin had softened roughly 2% over the prior week, with trading hovering near or below the $81,500 mark. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, known as IBIT, pulled in $665.2 million on its own, marking its largest single-day inflow since October 7, 2025.
