Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, rose above $83,000 to $83,012 at 3:38 a.m. ET (07:38 UTC) Oct. 19, in TokenPost’s own spot-price tracking on Binance. The move put the asset $12 above the threshold, based on the recorded price. BTC was $82,841 15 minutes earlier. That makes the latest reading $171 higher than the earlier one. Over the full hour before the $83,012 reading, BTC was up 0.16%, a separate comparison from the 15-minute change. Bitcoin ranked No. 1 by market capitalization.
