Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, moved above $76,000 and stood at $76,195 on Binance’s spot market at 2:20 p.m. ET Thursday. The quote placed BTC $195 above the $76,000 threshold at that observation. Fifteen minutes earlier, the spot quote was $75,967. The later reading was $228 higher, putting the move across the $76,000 mark between those two observations. The figures capture prices recorded at those times, and the 15-minute comparison is separate from the one-hour change. Bitcoin was up 0.15% over the hour ending at 2:20 p.m. ET.
