Binance US Seeks Up to $100 Million at About $1 Billion Valuation

Binance US, a U.S.-focused cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking up to $100 million at a target valuation of about $1 billion, a sharp reset from its $4.5 billion pre-money valuation in 2022. The target is about 78% below that earlier valuation. The $100 million figure is the maximum amount sought, while $1 billion is the approximate valuation target. Binance US raised more than $200 million in its 2022 financing, with Foundation Capital, RRE Ventures, Circle Ventures and VanEck among the investors. The company is working to regain market share through lower fees, new products and broader U.S. coverage.
