Binance’s BTC SAFU transfer from its emergency fund comes as recovery hits 90%

Binance completed a transfer of 7,499 BTC from its Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) on October 31, 2026, to replace assets stolen in its recent breach. Whale Alert valued the Bitcoin movement at about $581 million , as the exchange reported that it had replenished around 90% of the amount lost. Confirmation came via a block stamped with the time 10:51 a.m. ET . “SAFU fund transfer is complete,” Binance said, linking to the transaction.
