The exchange restored customer access following a significant hack, though reports differ on the scale of losses and reimbursement. Binance has resumed customer withdrawals following what several reports describe as one of the largest security incidents in the exchange's history. The platform had paused withdrawals while it investigated the breach, a standard precaution exchanges take to prevent further asset loss during an active security event. Daily Sabah Business reported that Binance confirmed the resumption of customer withdrawals after the hack was contained. Coinfomania similarly reported that Bitcoin withdrawals specifically had been reopened following the security event.
