Long positions outweighed short positions in Binance’s METAUSDT contract accounts on Nov. 5, but the snapshot describes derivative traders rather than investors holding Meta Platforms stock. At 4 a.m. ET (9:00 UTC), Binance’s global long-short account ratio was 1.8169, with 64.5% of accounts holding long positions and 35.5% short. Among top-trader accounts, 69.4% were long and 30.6% short, for a ratio of 2.2701. The figures show account positioning in the contract. On their own, they do not establish a direction for Meta shares. METAUSDT is a USDT-settled perpetual contract tied to Meta’s Nasdaq-listed common stock.
