The Binance hacker sold about $158 million in altcoins for 70,480 ETH, while analysts challenged the exchange’s claim that no private keys were leaked. The thief behind the Binance breach wasted little time turning stolen altcoins into ether. Onchain trackers reported the attacker finished dumping a host of alts including UNI, ENA, PEPE, LINK, AAVE, ONDO and WLD, swapping them for 70,480 ETH worth about $158.25 million. The attacker paid heavily for their hastiness, with one analyst noting that the individual sold 7,018,792 UNI in 51 minutes , taking a 21% worse price on the last swap than the first.
