Binance Hack Takes Another Twist as Hackers Amass 2,300 More Bitcoin

In the aftermath of the colossal $6.3 billion Binance hack, which saw 18,270.2 BTC drained from the crypto exchange’s wallet, onchain intelligence and blockchain analytics firm Elliptic has revealed that the attacker’s bitcoin holdings are growing considerably larger. According to Elliptic, the hackers have converted $175 million in stolen altcoins into approximately 2,300 BTC, further expanding their bitcoin reserves. The Oct. 29, 2026, Binance hack stands as the largest cryptocurrency exchange breach in U.S. dollar terms, with the attackers making off with an extraordinary haul.
