Binance France to close all customer accounts by year end, with fees on idle balances from November 29

After failing to secure a MiCA license, the exchange's French arm is charging monthly fees on leftover assets ahead of a December 31 shutdown Binance France is shutting its doors to French customers. All accounts will be closed on December 31, 2026 , and any assets still sitting on the platform will start incurring monthly fees from November 29 . The exit follows Binance France’s failure to obtain authorization under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework, better known as MiCA. For users, the practical message is short: get your assets out, and do it soon.
