Intermittent connectivity problems affected a major U.S. overnight alternative trading system from 11:46 p.m. ET Oct. 20 (03:46 UTC Oct. 21) through 2:30 a.m. ET (06:30 UTC) Oct. 21. Binance's adjustment covered premium-index readings recorded during that window for contracts tied to U.S. shares. The premium index is one component used to set funding rates.
