Berkshire Hathaway Completes $330 Million Bending Spoons Investment

Bending Spoons announced Thursday that Berkshire Hathaway completed a $330 million investment, bringing the U.S. conglomerate’s stake in the Nasdaq-listed Italian technology company to 4%. The placement issued 10 million ordinary shares at $33 each. The transaction had been announced earlier as a planned $330 million investment , with a fourth-quarter 2026 closing target. The deal adds to the $600 million Berkshire invested in Bending Spoons during the company’s July 2026 initial public offering. The proceeds give Bending Spoons more financial flexibility to pursue acquisitions. The company’s digital businesses include Airtable, AOL and Eventbrite.
