The Bank of Japan inflation forecast is at a crucial crossroads, where the central bank says that underlying inflation is finally in line with the target of 2% set by the BOJ back in 2013. However, despite the current success, the Bank of Japan held its benchmark rate at 1.25% with an 8-1 vote in October 2026.
