Baidu Investors Have Until Nov. 13 to Seek Lead Plaintiff Role

The proposed class covers purchases from Nov. 18, 2025, through Aug. 17, 2026. The lawsuit alleges Baidu overstated its AI business’s ability to cushion declines in legacy online marketing and says company revenue was likely to fall. The suit also challenges positive statements about Baidu’s business and outlook, claiming they were misleading or lacked adequate support. A lead plaintiff represents other members of the proposed class and directs the litigation. The class has not been certified.
