Boeing and Avolon announced Wednesday, Nov. 4, that Avolon finalized an order for 140 Boeing 737-10 jets, the largest 737 MAX order placed by a lessor, lifting Avolon’s unfilled family orders above 240. The agreement identifies all 140 jets as 737-10s, Boeing’s largest 737 MAX model. Avolon’s Oct. 9 announcement described a commitment for 140 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft but did not identify the variants. The October package also included 110 Airbus aircraft — 75 from the A320neo family and 35 from the A330neo family — along with options for 100 more planes. As of Nov.
