Avalanche recorded its shortest-ever average block time on Friday, October 23, reaching 911 milliseconds, according to blockchain data platform Chainspect. The milestone highlights the network’s transaction-processing performance as its native token, AVAX, approaches a critical technical level. Crypto analyst Giannis Andreou identified $8.295 as a key support checkpoint, with the AVAX price move depending on whether buyers defend the level or sellers push the token lower. A successful recovery could bring higher resistance levels into focus, while a breakdown may expose AVAX to further downside.
