Attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Shaybah oil field and King Fahd International Airport killed three people, bringing violence to energy and aviation sites and heightening regional risk concerns for oil markets. Two workers from Nepal and the Philippines died at Shaybah, while one Saudi resident was killed at the airport. The attacks also injured other people. Both sites are in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Shaybah is an Aramco oil field, and operations there continued without disruption after the attack. The two attacks brought deaths to a production site and a transport hub in one province.
