ArcelorMittal’s third-quarter results combined $16.466 billion in sales with adjusted basic earnings of $1.15 per share, even as the steel producer recorded a reported basic loss of $0.52 per share. The company released the results Nov. 5 for the quarter ended Sept. 30. Sales rounded to $16.47 billion. The $1.15 figure is adjusted basic earnings per share, a non-GAAP measure calculated using the company’s methodology. It is distinct from the reported basic loss of $0.52 per share.
