Apple announced its M6-powered iMac on Oct. 27, pricing the U.S. model at $1,499 and setting Nov. 6 availability as it brings the chip to its all-in-one desktop line. The base configuration pairs a 10-core CPU with a 10-core GPU and starts at $1,499. A version with a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU starts at $1,699. Preorders open Oct. 28. The new iMac delivers up to five times faster on-device AI performance than the M4 model.
