Apple Plans Limited iPhone Duo Store Stock for Oct. 23 Launch

Apple plans to offer limited quantities of its first foldable iPhone in stores Friday, Oct. 23, with walk-in availability also limited in the United States and Canada. The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for the 256GB model. Apple opened U.S. preorders at 8 a.m. ET (12:00 UTC) on Oct. 16. By 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC), delivery estimates for every configuration had moved to Jan. 25. An Oct. 19 check of Apple’s U.S. store showed a Jan. 25 delivery estimate for the 512GB model . Delivery estimates alone do not disclose preorder volume or show how many phones are available.
