Anza Warns Solana Validators of a Nov. 6 Network Fork Risk

Anza urged Solana mainnet validators to install Agave 4.4.1 before a Nov. 6 cutoff, warning that nodes without the patch would split from the network at epoch 1079. The deadline was projected for 9:30 p.m. Beijing time on Nov. 6, or 8:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). Anza tied the risk to nodes that had not installed the specified release by the scheduled network milestone. Agave 4.4.1 applies a minimum loaded-data size requirement to loader-v3 ProgramData accounts. That account rule was identified as the technical change in the release.
