Anthropic Reports $17 Billion in Q3 Revenue and a GAAP Operating Loss

Anthropic's amended S-1 filing with the SEC disclosed $17 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, alongside a $567 million GAAP operating loss after a profitable Q2. Revenue rose 1,127% year over year and nearly 50% from Q2, when it was $11.555 billion. Anthropic had $974 million in GAAP operating income in Q2. Adjusted operating income reached $2.5 billion, up from $2.2 billion in Q2, while adjusted operating margin narrowed to 15% from 19%.
