Anthropic reportedly signs multiyear cloud deal with IREN: The Information

Anthropic , the artificial intelligence lab known for its Claude model family, has reportedly entered into a multiyear cloud-services agreement with IREN, a data-center operator formerly involved in bitcoin mining. This development, reported by The Information, has not yet been confirmed by either company. IREN had previously mentioned a contract with an unnamed “leading frontier AI lab,” which is now believed to be Anthropic. This agreement aligns IREN with Anthropic’s network of infrastructure partners, including AWS and Google , as the company continues its expansive data-center initiatives. Anthropic was last valued at $965 billion following a significant funding round.
