Anthropic IPO Investors Discuss $1.5 Trillion Valuation as Growth Slows

Anthropic’s rapid revenue growth has not ended debate over what its potential IPO could be worth. Some existing shareholders and prospective investors are discussing a valuation near $1.5 trillion, about 25% below the roughly $2 trillion expectation tied to a possible November listing. At an Oct. 14 investor meeting in San Francisco, Anthropic put third-quarter revenue at $16.8 billion, up about 45% from the prior quarter. The company also reported an adjusted profit for the period. Revenue for the first nine months reached $33.1 billion, compared with about $4.6 billion for all of 2025.
