Anthropic , a San Francisco-based AI company, is reportedly preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) that could value the company at $2 trillion, according to a New York Times report. The company, known for its AI product Claude, was founded by Dario Amodei, Daniela Amodei, and five others. The anticipated IPO could potentially raise more than $100 billion, marking a significant leap from its previous valuation of approximately $965 billion after a funding round in May. The IPO is expected to consolidate founder control, with 50.1% of voting power retained by its founders through a Founder LLC.
