Anthropic expands GSA deal with 40% discount for government users

Anthropic said on Tuesday it is expanding its partnership with the U.S. General Services Administration, extending a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government and the Claude API to government customers across more procurement channels. The company said the agreement now covers direct purchases and, in coming months, sales through cloud providers, and also applies to state, local, tribal and territorial governments. In the company’s announcement dated Oct. 27, 2026, Anthropic said the expanded OneGov arrangement is intended to lower the cost of access for agencies that face tight budgets and long procurement cycles.
