Andreessen Horowitz Tops AI Venture Ranking With 22,509 Points

Andreessen Horowitz topped the 2026 Strebulaev-Jackson AI Venture Ranking with 22,509 points for investments in U.S.-headquartered AI companies. Lightspeed Venture Partners placed second with 14,422 points, followed by Menlo Ventures with 13,464. The ranking was publicly released Oct. 20 and measures qualifying investments through Aug. 31, 2026. The scores were concentrated among a small group of firms. The top three earned 29% of the points awarded to the top 100, while the top 10 earned 60%. Investments made in 2023 or later generated 80% of the points across the top 100.
