Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has begun initial shipments of its Helios AI systems and expects server revenue to double in 2027 as data center products take a larger role in its business. Helios combines sixth-generation EPYC server processors and MI450-series Instinct graphics processors in rack-scale systems. Production is underway. Oracle, Microsoft Azure, Anthropic, OpenAI and Meta are among the platform’s customers. AMD expects its Data Center segment to account for more than 80% of company revenue in 2027.
