[Altcoin options] Ether puts lead trading, Solana calls edge ahead and XRP shows strongest call bias

Ether options showed a defensive trading bias, while Solana calls held a modest lead and XRP recorded the strongest preference for calls. Open interest for the nearest listed expiries was put-heavy for Ether, nearly balanced for Solana and strongly call-heavy for XRP. Ether options expiring on October 31 had more than twice as much put open interest as call open interest. Solana’s October 31 positions were almost evenly split, while calls dominated XRP’s November 27 expiry. Across all expiries, recent trading favored Ether puts and calls in Solana and XRP.
