'Almost Like Satoshi Knew Something': Adam Back Throws Shade at Ethereum

This week, Ethereum researchers warned AI could break the signatures securing Bitcoin and Ethereum "in months, not years" in the worst case, well before quantum computers arrive. This information didn't sit well with early Bitcoin pioneer and Blockstream CEO Adam Back, who criticized Ethereum's early design decisions in an X post. Back was particularly critical of Ethereum's early developers, describing them as inexperienced, saying that they "reimplemented around an obviously broken architecture" despite warning attempts.
