The Chinese tech giant's latest eyewear extends its Qwen AI strategy into consumer hardware, where Meta and Xiaomi are already waiting Alibaba has announced a new set of smart glasses. It is the company’s latest step in turning an AI strategy into something people can actually wear. The glasses story started as a preview. Alibaba first showed its Quark AI Glasses at the World AI Conference in Shanghai in July 2025. Retail came a few months later. The glasses officially went on sale in China on November 27, 2025.
