AIFC Court Bars Operators of Coinbase, BingX and Four Other Platforms

The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) Court in Kazakhstan has issued injunctions barring the operators of six crypto platforms from offering digital-asset services in the financial center without authorization. The restrictions also cover distribution of mobile apps used to provide those services within the AIFC. The limits apply within the center’s jurisdiction and to people accessing the services from there. Google and Apple are to receive notice of the judgment and become bound by it only after service. A Sept. 15 order initially covered the operators of seven platforms.
