Advanced Energy Industries Shares Rise Nearly 10% After Q3 Results

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (AEIS) shares rose nearly 10% Tuesday, adding $20.91 to close at $238.10 following the company's third-quarter results. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 reached $696.4 million, up 50% from $463.3 million a year earlier. The result exceeded the $644.84 million consensus estimate. Semiconductor Equipment generated $322 million in revenue, while Data Center Computing generated $256 million. Both segments set quarterly records in the company's third-quarter results .
