Acumen Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ABOS) shares fell more than 80% in premarket trading Friday, Oct. 30, after the company announced its midstage Alzheimer’s trial missed primary and key secondary endpoints for its lead candidate, sabirnetug. The ALTITUDE-AD study tested sabirnetug in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Acumen’s third-quarter results put its cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities at $78.6 million as of Sept. 30. The company expected that balance to support clinical and operating activities into early 2027. John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
