The DeFi lending protocol restored normal market activity while blocking new borrowing against a set of flagged assets. Aave, one of the largest decentralized lending protocols in crypto, has reopened markets that had previously been frozen. The move restores standard functionality, including deposits, withdrawals and loan repayments, across the affected pools. Despite the reopening, nine assets remain set to zero loan-to-value, according to Cryptopolitan. A zero LTV setting means those tokens can no longer be used as collateral to originate new loans. Existing positions can still be managed, but fresh borrowing against the flagged assets is blocked.
