Twenty-two companies, including Microsoft, Alphabet and Goldman Sachs, have opted out of a proposed OKX and ICE tokenized-stock project, sharpening issuer resistance to a planned 63-stock offering. The project involves crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent of the New York Stock Exchange. The companies acted after receiving notice that their shares could be offered as tokens on crypto platforms. A full-page paid ad funded by CSLF ran in a weekend business section Oct. 24-25. It urged public-company CEOs to submit written objections within 30 days of receiving notice.
