1inch said it blocked addresses linked to the Binance theft from its decentralized app, wallet and API within an hour of the incident, while stolen 1INCH tokens remain impossible to freeze. 1inch’s risk management team coordinated with ZeroShadow, SEAL 911 and TRM Labs to identify the addresses. The team continues adding newly identified addresses and sharing them with blockchain parsers and integration partners. Some assets taken in the Binance incident were 1INCH. The token uses the standard ERC-20 format and has no freeze or blacklist function, leaving no token-level control to stop transfers.
